We’re looking for an outgoing, self motivated person with plenty of enthusiasm and a good command of the English language (oral and written).

You must be a quick learner and enjoy a challenge. Deadlines are crucial so you must be organised, follow procedures and work as part of a team. Creative skills would be an advantage.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our energetic, vibrant team.  We work in an inbound call-centre style environment and our focus is to provide exceptional customer service to our advertising clients for The Dominion Post and Central Community Newspapers.

This involves receiving advertising instructions by phone, fax, and email and the subsequent inputting and formatting of advertising for publication through our in-house system.

You will also provide advertising advice, pricing options and placement alternatives to both existing business clients and the general public. Outbound telephone activity, generated by leads from incoming material is also involved and any opportunity to up-sell and cross-sell our advertising is an essential part of the role.

To be successful in this position you will have proven experience in customer service, telephone and selling environments.  Through your positive approach and high level of personal motivation and energy, you will also have the ability and initiative to recognise and follow up on a sales opportunity.

Exceptional keyboard skills and the organisational ability to cope with the challenge of deadlines, changing priorities and a fast paced environment are essential.  Exposure to call centre operations would be an advantage but full consideration will be given to candidates with relevant customer service experience.

Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our vibrant team!

We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual who enjoys variety as this role includes both front office and customer contact centre functions.  The overall purpose of this position is to service and establish professional relationships with our clients by assisting with their advertising and general enquiries in an accurate, proficient and professional manner.  

Normally based at our front office, tasks include face to face contact with both regular and new clients to help then with a range of queries which will vary from day to day.  These may include advertising account payments, ad placement and proofing, photo and newspapers sales and general related queries.

From time to time you will also assist in our customer contact centre.  The key responsibilities here include quoting, booking and formatting advertising for publication using our sophisticated dedicated newspaper production system.

To be considered for the role, you will have a positive approach and a high level of personal motivation and energy.  You also have the ability and experience to provide top notch customer service efficiently and in a professional manner.
